Worm farm brings fun to the workplace

Leo visits Capes Medical Supplies Limited, a 'Why Waste Worms' commercial customer to speak with the owner Peter Capes to find out how it's been working for them.

Capes Medical Supplies has been renting the managed worm farm for over three years. They signed up to make a positive difference, bring more fun into the workplace and have a bit of a laugh.

Peter highlights how the worm farm has helped to build the company culture. He says, "The team fight over who gets the castings and fertiliser. It's been a lot of fun and it gives the team something else to focus on."

With 5-10 people in the office, one of our worm farms is perfect to capture the organic waste from the tea room (coffee, tea, lunch scraps etc) as well as paper towels from the bathroom.
